PROPOSED MOTION
"The City Council approves the withdrawal of the application of Westwood
Church to rezone 1.25 acres of property located at 3010 West 78d, Street from
Rural Residential (RR) to Office Institutional (OI)."
City Council approval requires a majority vote of the entire City Council.
Westwood Church has requested to withdraw their application to rezone and re -guide
their property located at 3010 West 78' Street (Hope House). The uses allowed
under the current zoning classification will accommodate Westwood's desired use for
the property. On May 27, 2014, the City Council tabled action on this item. Attached
is an email from Scott Sturm of Westwood Church requesting withdrawal. Staff is
recommending formal approval of the withdrawal to close out the file on this
application.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that City Council approve withdrawal of the application of
Westwood Church to rezone 1.25 acres of property located at 3010 West 78a' Street
from Rural Residential (RR) to Office Institutional (OI).

Please withdraw our request to change the zoning and guidance classifications for the Hope House
portion of the Westwood Church Campus. We will maintiain current classifications to support planned
ministry initiatives.
In a related topic, we will be updating the plat for the overall campus to correct the plat from the Arbor
Cove sale process. That corrected plat will be sent in the coming weeks, and can take the usual
process for approvals.
