Annually, the City of Chanhassen, in cooperation with our local business
community, sponsors a series of special events. The city's summer special event
is the "4th of July Celebration," which will be held on Sunday. July 3 &
Monday. July 4. I invite all area residents, their families and friends to attend.
All events on July 3 will be held at City Center Park and July 4 events will be
held at Lake Ann Park & City Center Park. The event starts Sunday. July 3 at
3:30 p.m.. with the Chanhassen Chamber of Commerce sponsored "Business
Fair." Other events are scheduled throughout the night and will conclude with a
Street Dance featuring "Casablanca Orchestra." July 4 events start at 7:30 a.m..
with an adult fishing contest on Lake Ann. The events will conclude with a
spectacular musically choreographed fireworks display over Lake Ann at
10:00 p.m.
