Burn permits: With the dry fall we are experiencing, conditions are high to very high risk for grass, field fires, etc. The MnDNR website is checked daily for burn restrictions and fire hazard ratings. We were holding burn permit requests until there was a significant snow fall. There have been recent grass fires in nearby communities and holding burn permits will reduce the risk within Chanhassen.
