The 2015 omnibus liquor bill was signed into law on May l, 2015. One of the

Previously, no alcohol could be seived by an establishment prior to 10 am on Sunday.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10
OF THE CHANHASSEN CITY CODE
CONCERNING ON-SALE SUNDAY LIQUOR
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN, MINNESOTA
ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 10-19(� of the Chanhassen City Code is amended to i�ead:
On-sale Sunday liquor license. On-sale Sunday liquor licenses may be issued
only to a hotel or restaurant, with facilities for serving not less than 50 guests
at one ti�ne, to which an on-sale intoxicating license has been issued. Such
license inay permit the sale of liquor to be consuined on the preinises during
the houi-s allowed by State 1aw in conjunction with the seiving of�ood provided ',
that the licensee is in confonnance with the IVIinnesota Clean Indoor Air Act, '
M.S. § 144.411 et seq., and provided a public heai-ing is held prior to the �
issuance of the license. No Sunday liquor license is needed for on-sale wine
licenses.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective iinmediately upon its passage and
publication.
