Utilities
PROPOSED MOTION
"The City Council approves a resolution accepting the public streets and
utilities in Lake St. Joe Cove for perpetual maintenance and ownership."
City Council approval requires a simple majority vote of the City Council
present.
Staff has received a letter from Daniel Schmidt of Sathre - Bergquist, Inc. stating
that the streets and utility improvements have been constructed in accordance with
the approved plans and specifications. Staff has performed a walk - through
inspection and finds the completed improvements acceptable for perpetual
maintenance and ownership contingent upon receipt of a two -year maintenance
bond.

WHEREAS, the City has received a letter from Daniel Schmidt of Sathre - Bergquist, Inc.
indicating the above - referenced street and utility improvements have been completed in
conformance with the approved plans and specifications and all testing has been successfully
completed; and
WHEREAS, staff has performed a walk - through inspection and finds the improvements
acceptable for perpetual maintenance and ownership; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chanhassen City Council hereby
accepts the public street and utility improvements in Lake St. Joe Cove, Project No. 13 -11, for
perpetual maintenance and ownership contingent upon receipt of a two -year maintenance bond.
