Albert's parents are buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Chaska, Minnesota. Albert purchased 100 acres of land in Section 29 from his brother-in-law, Peter Lano, on 9/17/1854. The Carver County Death Records record the following information: Ferdinand Tessman was born circa 1802 in Prussia. Tessman was a farmer and came to Minnesota in April of 1854. He died of dropsey at the age of 76 on the 2nd of July, 1878 in Chanhassen, Carver County. Ferdinand was married, but his wife's name is unknown. Place of burial unknown. Carolina Tessman was born circa 1807 in Romania. She was the daughter of Peter Lano, Sr. Her mother's name is unknown. She died on 3/26/1871, in Chanhassen, Carver County, Minnesota.
