Name William N. Fuller
Comments/History Member of the First Independent Church Excelsior and Chanhassen by letter of
transfer from Methodist Church, Springfield, Massachusetts on 1/14/1855.
William served as a delegate to the Church Conference in 1856; church officer in
1857, and church deacon in 1859. He was also a member of the Chanhassen
Cemetery Association in 1861. William purchased land on 11/5/1858, and again
on 4/7/1862. Theodore Bost in a letter home dated 4/23/1859 describes William
as: "An American (New Englander) farmer school teacher. A well-bred
gentleman. Very polite." The Fullers are not listed in the 1857 Census.
William N. Fuller married Susan Russell, daughter of John Russell, on March 30,
1851 in Wilbraham, Massachusetts (MA VR)
There is a Civil War Registration for William W. Fuller (age 40)?? -- Not sure if this
is the right person.
