Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Darlene; son, Donn; sister, Kay Cheney; and brother, Clinton. His 50 -year career in real estate included a successful partnership at Streeter -Andrus Realtors & commercial real estate as Andrus Agency. Served as president of: the Mid Continent Society of Industrial Office Realtors, W. Suburban Chamber of Commerce, Mtka Jaycees, Excelsior Rotary Club, S. Shore Community Council & VP for the Mpls Real Estate Board. An active volunteer at Excelsior United Methodist Church, he served as SS Supt. and teacher, Lay Leader & chaired many committees. Other community service: Salvation Army, YMCA, school board, scouts. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he earned 9 varsity letters & was elected to the Cornell College Hall of Fame. A high school coach for 7 yrs, he kept ties with many players. Bud's family was the light of his life and he was blessed with many good friends. After retirement he enjoyed playing golf & woodworking. Bud faced his cancer with dignity, grace & humor. Survived by wife, Judy; son, Doug (Theresa) of Maple Lake; daughters, Nancy of Duluth; Gayle (Mike) Colehour of Maple Grove; daughter-in-law Janice of CA; stepchildren, Chris Brown of GA; Mark (Sepideh) Brown of WI; Nancy (Bill) Richards of GA; Mary Jo Brown of Burnsville; grandchildren, Allie, Jana, Ryan, Ian, Ross, Alese, Abby, Danielle, Jillian, Allison, Hillary, Daniel; and great- grandchild, Leela.
