2002:
Felix Francis White, 84, of Chanhassen, died Thursday, August 1, 2002, at
Ridgeview Medical Center, Waconia. Graveside Service was held Monday,
August 5, 2002, at Chanhassen Pioneer Cemetery, Chanhassen, with the Rev. Val
Lehman of the Chaska Moravian Church officiating.
Felix was born June 11, 1918, in Melrose, Wisc., to Fred and Elgie (Nichols)
White, the youngest of four children. He was baptized, confirmed and attended
school in Melrose, Wisc. He served in the United States Army from 1941 until
1945, serving during World War Il.
On March 8, 1942, Felix married Lois Koehn in Trenton, N.J. They had three sons.
They have been residents of Chanhassen since 1958, and have been friends of
the Chaska Moravian Church for some time. Felix was employed as a purchasing
agent for Donaldson Manufacturing from 1965 until his retirement in 1983. He
enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and nature, and loved children of all ages.
Felix was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gordon and William; sister,
Gwen Sawyer.
Survivors include his wife, Lois; sons and daughter-in-law, John of Chaska, Bob
(Marie) of Klamath Falls, Ore., Gary of Chanhassen; and granddaughter„ Melonie.
Funeral arrangements were with the Bertas Funeral Home of Chaska.
