IV /Construction Manager CFF DATE: July 27, 2015 8W SUBJ: Powers Pointe, Project N 13-14: ccept Public Sanitary Sewer PROPOSED MOTION "The City Council approves a resolution accepting the public sanitary sewer in Powers Pointe for perpetual maintenance and ownership." City Council approval requires a simple majority vote of the City Council present. Staff has received a letter from Dave Nash of EV S, Inc. stating that the sanitary sewer improvements have been constructed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. Staff has performed a walk - through inspection and finds the completed improvements acceptable for perpetual maintenance and ownership contingent upon receipt of a sanitary sewer maintenance bond. The Met Council required the connection to be publicly owned due to the inside drop within the manhole, and required the City to enter into a connection and maintenance agreement for this development.
