Presentation of Chanhassen's 50th Anniversary Essay Contest Winners
("Why I Love Chanhassen"
On behalf of the Chanhassen City Council, I would like to congratulate
the winners and participants who submitted a "Why I Love Chanhassen"
essay as part of the City of Chanhassen's 50th Anniversary Celebration.
High School, Middle School, and Elementary School students were
invited to submit a 100-500 word entry to have a chance to receive a
$100 prize.
The winners and runners up of the essay contest are:
Elementary School Students — Grades 4&5
Ava Joos — Winner
Danica Grafelman — Runner-up
Middle School Students — Grades 6-8
Luke Hilgendorf— Winner
Hannah Quiner — Runner-up
High School Students — Grades 9-12
No entries submitted
Essay contest winners are invited to read their essays at this time. Please
come forward.
Congratulations to Ava Joos, Luke Hilgendorf, Danica Grafelmman, and
Hannah Quiner for participating in the "Why I Love Chanhassen" essay
