98-56DATE: June 8~ 1998 MOTION BY: Senn and CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO: 98-56 SECONDED BY: Engel A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR SEVERE WEATHER SIRENS AND INSTALLATION; AMENDING THE BUDGET WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on June 8, 1998 for the above mentioned project; WHEREAS, one bid was received from Federal Warning Systems in the amount of $127,196.00.. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chanhassen City Council hereby approves the bid and installation of five sirens this year and four sirens next year as submitted by Federal Warning Systems in the amount of $127,196.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the five sirens going in this year at approximately $70,000 will come from a combination of the reserve and available TIF district funds on applicable sirens, with the four sirens for next year becoming a funding issue as it relates to the '99 budget.
