A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1997 BUDGET,
AND ESTABLISHING TAX LEVIES FOR 1997
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Chanhassen that the 1997 Budget for the City of
Chanhassen is hereby adopted in the aggregate revenue and expenditure amounts of $10,043,756 and
$10,530,607, respectively, such being further detailed in the 1997 Budget document which is hereby made a part
hereof; and
BE IT RESOLVED That the following sums of money have been scheduled as "Certified Levies" as a part
of the bond resolutions originally passed for such bond debt - such to be levied in 1996 for collection in 1997 upon
the taxable property in said City of Chanhassen and as shown in this resolution; and
BE IT RESOLVED That the City Council of the City of Chanhassen hereby determines that certain bonded
indebtedness levies are hereby adopted to meet current and future bond requirements and that the County Auditor
is hereby authorized and directed to increase or reduce the previously adopted bonded debt levies as shown on
the attached Tax Levy Certification document.
BE IT RESOLVED That the City of Chanhassen hereby establishes a revised 1996 Budget as the official
control for the City of Chanhassen for 1996 as shown in the before hereto adopted 1997 Budget under the column
shown as "1996 Estimated" Budget for each of the operational funds of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the City of Chanhassen hereby authorizes the County
Auditor to levy the amounts, as shown on the attached Tax Levy Certification document, upon taxable property in
the City of Chanhassen, in accordance with the heretofore established budget and bonded debt findings in 1996,
for collection in 1997, as setforth on the attached Tax Levy Certification document.
