95-54 CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA DATE: May 22, 1995 RESOLUTION NO: 95-54 MOTION BY: Mason SECONDED BY: Berquist A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE CONCURRENT DETACHMENT OF LAND FROM THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN AND THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF CHASKA WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 414.601 authorizes the concurrent detachment and annexation of land; and WHEREAS, the City of Chaska will be constructing a public roadway across a portion of land which is currently within the City of Chanhassen's corporate boundaries; and WHEREAS, the Cities of Chaska and Chanhassen have agreed to the concurrent attachment and annexation of the parcel of property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Chanhassen City Council of the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota as follows: The property described in Exhibit A shall be detached from the City of Chanhassen and annexed to the City of Chaska. . That this resolution is contingent upon the City of Chaska adopting a similar resolution approving the aforementioned detachment and annexation, and is further contingent upon approval by the Minnesota Municipal Board. o The City Manager is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Minnesota Municipal Board and to the City of Chaska.
