A RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO I TO WEST 78TH STREET
DETACHMENT AND DOWNTOWN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 92-3
FOR INSTALLATION OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC SIGNAL ON WEST 78TH STREET
AT GREAT PLAINS BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, on May 10, 1993, the City Council awarded the bid for West 78th Street
Detachment and Downtown Improvement Project No. 92-3 to C. S. McCrossan Construction, Inc;
and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 involves the installation of a temporary signal at the
intersection of West 78th Street at Great Plains Boulevard to accommodate increased traffic due
to several road closures; and
WHEREAS, this temporary installation will benefit the detour routing for the Trunk
Highway 101 project, MnDOT will loan the City the necessary hardware, i.e. signal controller,
poles, and signal faces at no charge, with the City responsible for the installation of this
hardware.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chanhassen City Council hereby
approves Change Order No. 1, in the amount of $30,719.66 for the temporary traffic signal at
West 78th Street and Great Plains Boulevard.
Passed and adopted by the Chanhassen City Council this 14th day of June, 1993.
