93-62 CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA DATE: June 28, 1993 RESOLUTION NO: 93-62 MOTION BY: Wine SECONDED BY: Dockendorf A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN CHASKA MACHINE AND TOOL, INC (DOUG HANSEN) WHEREAS, the City, in accordance with the Metropolitan Land Planning Act, adopted the Comprehensive Land Use Plan on January 28, 1991; and WHEREAS, the City has received a petition from Doug Hansen to amend the Land Use Plan to rezone said property at 7900 Kerber Boulevard; Lots 3, 4 and 5, Block 2, Burdick Park, from General Business (BG) to Planned Unit Development (PUD); and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said petition on March 17, 1993, by the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission recommended approval conditioned upon approval by the Metropolitan Council; and WHEREAS, the City, in accordance with the Metropolitan Land Planning Act and the Metropolitan Council Guidelines for reviewing local Comprehensive Plan Amendments, has determined that the amendment is consistent with the Goals and Policies of the Comprehensive Plan and its Land Use Element; and WHEREAS, the amendment has been determined by the Metropolitan Council to be in conformity with Metropolitan System Plans, the Metropolitan Development Guide, and appears to be compatible with the plans of adjacent communities; and WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has approved the amendment on September 16, 1993. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Comprehensive Land Use Plan be hereby amended to rezone said property at 7900 Kerber Boulevard; Lots 3, 4, and 5; Block 2, Burdick Park from General Business (BG) to Planned Unit Development (PUD), as shown on Exhibit A.
