93-111 CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA DATE: November 8, 1993 RESOLUTION NO: 93-111 MOTION BY: Dockendorf SECONDED BY: Mason A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR LYMAN BOULEVARD STREET, STORM SEWER, AND TRUNK UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NO. 93-32 WHEREAS, the City has received a joint petition for public improvements from property owners or developers amassing nearly 300 acres of land in Section 24 and in the south half of Section 13; and WHEREAS, all of these properties are within the Municipal Urban Service Area; and WHEREAS, petitions submitted request public improvements consisting of trunk sanitary sewer and watermain, however staff believes that a reconstructed and upgraded road facility is an imperative element of this overall capital improvement project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chanhassen City Council hereby authorizes Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates (OSM) to prepare a feasibility study for Lyman Boulevard street, storm sewer, and trunk utility improvements, Project 93-32 at a contract fee of $34,400.00 contingent upon the owners of the five properties represented by the petition entering into an agreement with the City and escrowing or securing the cost for the feasibility study based on a proportionate share of land area involved in the project as follows: A1 Klingelhutz $8,300 John Klingelhutz $9,600 James Dolejsi $5,900 Robert Rogers $3,400 James Curry $7,200 Passed and adopted by the Chanhassen City Council this 8th day of November, 1993.
