Fire Prevention:
Plans are currently underway for Fire Prevention Week activities involving our four elementary schools,
grades K through 5, along with a number of visits to our daycare centers. Most of the month of October
is dedicated to fire prevention activities. Currently we have over 20 firefighters who have volunteered
their time to work with the kids. Most have taken vacation time and comp time to assist with these
activities. The Fire Department Open House is scheduled for Sunday, October 15th from 1 :00 to 4:00
pm at the main fire station. Hope to see you there.
