2004-55 .. ..' e CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA DATE: AUl!Ust 9. 2004 RESOLUTION NO: 2004-55 MOTION BY: Peterson SECONDED BY: Lundquist A RESOLUTION V ACA TING A PORTION OF PUBLIC DRAINAGE & UTILITY EASEMENT AT 1450/1460 KNOB HILL LANE - V ACA TION FILE NO. 2004-04 WHEREAS, the City received a request from John Knoblauch, the property owner of both 1450 and 1460 Knob Hill Lane (Lots 4 and 5, Block 1, Knob Hill), to vacate a portion of an existing public drainage and utility easement on the applicant's property; and WHEREAS, the existing 6-foot rear and sideyard easement were dedicated to the City as a part of the Knob Hill plat in 1996; and WHEREAS, the property owner is requesting to move the common property line to the south 18 feet so the existing 6-foot wide lot line easements are no longer necessary. WHEREAS, the applicant will be dedicating new property line easements on each side of the new property line location. e WHEREAS, granting the new easement is consistent with the zoning ordinance and comprehensive plan and the lot line revision maintains the lot area, depth and width of Lot 4, Block 10 (1460 Knob Hill Lane). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chanhassen City Council hereby approves vacating a portion of a public drainage and utility easement at 1450/1460 Knob Hill Lane as defined in the attached vacation description subject to the following: 1. Six-foot wide public drainage and utility easements must be granted along each side of the revised property line between Lots 4 and 5, Block 1, Knob Hill.
