A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY
FOR SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS
IN THE UPPER BLUFF CREEK DISTRICT, PROJECT 91-17
WHEREAS, on December 9, 1991, the City Council authorized
preparation of a feasibility study for sanitary sewer and watermain
improvements in the Upper Bluff Creek District. Since initiating
this study, the City has received a number of inquiries concerning
the development of properties local to the Upper Bluff Creek area
(see attachments). Specifically, the City has received a
preliminary plat for approximately 90 acres of land located in the
northeast quadrant of County Road 117 and Lyman Boulevard with a
purchase agreement secured by Hans Hagen Homes. Ms. Betty
O'Shaughnessy, the owner of parcel JRBll7 located in the southwest
quadrant of Trunk Highway 5 and County Road 117 has also submitted
a formal petition to be included in the feasibility study. Staff
has also received information indicating that Ryan Construction
Company is also pursuing development of the property located
immediately north of the railroad, corridor and west of Audubon
Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Chanhassen authorizes expansion of the previously
authorized feasibility study, for trunk sanitary sewer and
watermain improvements in the Upper Bluff Creek District area, to
include the entire undeveloped service area.
Passed and adopted by the Chanhassen City Council this 13th
day of January, 1991.
