92-25 City of Chanhassen Carver and Hennepin Counties, Minnesota DATE: February 10, 1992 RESOLUTION NO: 92-25 MOTION BY: Mason SECONDED BY: Wing A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZINa AN UPDATED FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR STREET UTILITY AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS TO TETON LANE (ASHTON COURT TO LILAC LANE) AND LILAC LANE (TETON LANE TO COUNTY ROAD 17), PROJECT NO. 91-4 WHEREAS, as a pa~t of the Curry Farms Development, a feasibility study was prepared in 1988 by William R. Engelhardt and Associates to study improvements to Teton Lane. A number of alternatives were suggested, one of which was employed and yielded the present street situation; and, WHEREAS, in early 1991, a petition was received from North Shore Partners requesting the city to prepare an updated feasibility study for street and utility improvements to Teton Lane from Lilac Lane south to Ashton Court and Lilac Lane west of Powers Boulevard. The City authorized the update to the original feasibility study, February 25, 1991; however, North Shore Partners withdrew their purchase option for the property and the feasibility study update was never completed; and, WHEREAS, the property has been acquired by Hilloway Corporation and the developer has formally petitioned the City to update the feasibility study. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council.that the firm of Engelhardt and Associates prepare an updated feasibility study for street and utility improvements to Teton Lane between Lilac Lane and Ashton Court; and Lilac Lane between Teton Lane and County Road 17; conditioned upon the owner/developer providing a total security (letter of credit or cash escrow) in the amount of $5,000 to pay for the study.
