BACKGROUND
The TH 41 River Crossing Political Advisory Committee is convened by
MnDOT. The TH 41 River Crossing project's goal is to analyze existing and
future transportation needs of the TH 41 connection between US 169 and
US 212. The project began in 2002.
The role of the Policy Advisory Committee is to review study progress and
provide comments on local issues and concerns regarding the project.
Members of the Policy Advisory Committee are elected officials from local
and regional agencies. This committee meets at key points in the scoping
study process.
PAC Agencies (elected or appointed officials)
. Carver County, City of Carver, City of Chanhassen, City of Chaska,
Jackson Township, Louisville Township, Metropolitan Council,
Mn/DOT, Scott County, City of Shakopee, and the Shakopee
Mdewakanton Sioux Community.

REQUIRED ACTION
As former Councilman Brian Lundquist was the City's PAC representative,
the City Council needs to appoint another representative. This can be done
through a simple nomination process, with a confirmation vote.
