92-64 City of Chanhassen Carver and Hennepin Counties, Minnesota DATE: May 18, 1992 RESOLUTION NO: 92-64 MOTION BY: Workman SECONDED BY: Dimler A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WHEREAS, the City, in accordance with the Metropolitan Land Planning Act, adopted the Comprehensive Land Use Plan on January 28, 1991; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 19, 1991 by the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission recommended approval conditioned upon approval by the Metropolitan Council; and WHEREAS, the City, in accordance with the Metropolitan Land Planning Act and the Metropolitan Council Guidelines for reviewing local Comprehensive Plan Amendments, has determined that the amendment is consistent with the Goals and Policies of the Comprehensive Plan and its Land Use Element; and WHEREAS, the amendment has been determined by the Metropolitan Council to be in conformity with Metropolitan System Plans, the Metropolitan Development Guide, and appears to be compatible with the plans of adjacent communities; and on WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has approved the amendment · NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Comprehensive Land Use Plan be hereby amended to change the minimum lot size to 15,000 square feet in the rural area or large enough to handle the required two drainfield sites.
