PROPOSED MOTION
Staff recommends that the EDA adopt the following motion:
The Chanhassen Economic Development Authority authorizes the Release of
Land from Assessment Agreement Chanhassen HRA Special Assessment
Reduction Agreement.
BACKGROUND
The attorney for Hendrickson Drywall, (7801 Park Drive / Chanhassen Lakes
Business Park, Lot 1, Block 3) has requested that the City grant a release from
their Special Assessment Agreement.
The Downtown TIF District (#1) was decertified on September 13, 2004.
Staff has reviewed the files and finds the project complete and in compliance with
the redevelopment contract.
RECOMMENDA TION
Staff recommends that the Chanhassen EDA approve the attached "Release of
Land from Assessment Agreement", Chanhassen HRA Special Assessment
Reduction Program. Approval of this item requires a majority vote of the EDA.
