TSC Minutes-Tracker 5.18.22 MINUTES May 18, 2022 1:30pm – 3:00pm Fountain Conference Room Part I: Call to Order Attendees: X Erik Henricksen X Charlie Howley X George Bender X Stacy Osen Charlie Burke X Bob Generous X Lance Pearce X Priya Tandon Part II: Review of Action Items from Previous Meetings • Speed Flyers-Input on 11x17 signage prior to first placement regarding Case #213: o Group gave feedback on first draft of 11x17 sign. o Also talked about using Parks Dept A-frame signs for larger option-sign printed and laminated. o Possible to make TSC A-frame signs for this purpose and customize the size. • Website Metrics-discuss website traffic after the first educational campaign: o Metrics on TSC site traffic is not available from CivicPlus, but new website will have this information available. Part III: Business & Information Agenda Item: • Review of Cases:—review cases and assess o The group reviewed case #s 214 & 215 -- Updated to Concern Tracker. o See Attachment for details on these cases. o SeeClickFix being updated to give access to Erik and Stacy for follow-up with requests. • S.A.F.E. Crosswalk Policy: review the crosswalk policy’s draft flowchart for finalization. o Continued work in progress. o Erik shared draft of flowchart, making some final adjustments in preparation to bring to council-planning for July 25th meeting. Part IV: Member Comment • Batteries need charging on speed trailer-moving through the list of locations. • Special Events Traffic Control Plan-Minnetonka Triathlon. Part V: Adjournment Next Meeting Date – 6/22/22 CASE # DATE AREA OF CONCERN SUMMARY OF CONCERN TSC COMMENTS & RECOMMENDATIONS 214 5/2/22 Lyman Blvd & Reflections Rd Request for RRFB improvement at intersection as many kids and neighborhood residents go to park and cross the road here. While the speed limit is 35 MPH resident feels many are speeding, coupled with sight lines to the east it's difficult to see down Lyman to anticipate vehicles. Similar to case #117. Responded to the SCF case and informed the resident that similar requests for this intersection have been received and the intersection will be evaluated immediately upon acceptance of the Crosswalk Policy. 215 5/17/22 Bluff Creek Blvd & Washington Blvd Similar to Case #130 regarding crosswalk improvements. Resident has concerns regarding sight distances, speeds, and ability to safely cross to get to pool and park. Responded to the SCF case and informed the resident that similar requests for this intersection have been received and the intersection will be evaluated immediately upon acceptance of the Crosswalk Policy.
