AGENDA
July 20, 2022 – 1:30 to 3:00 P.M.
CHANHASSEN CITY HALL, FOUNTAIN ROOM, 7700 MARKET BOULEVARD
PART I: 1:30 P.M. - CALL TO ORDER
Take attendance for the record and establishing a quorum (50% attendance of all
members).
PART II: 1:35 P.M. – REVIEW OF ACTION ITEMS FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS
Review minutes and any items requiring follow-up from the previous regular meeting of
TSC.
1. Speed Flyers – Review signage example similar to “Proposed Development”,
evaluate need for signage and its ability to command respect from road users.
PART III: 2:00 P.M. – BUSINESS & INFORMATION
1. Review of Cases: no new cases received for 7/20 meeting. Opportunity to
review all pending cases still being tracked and discuss tracker improvements.
2. S.A.F.E. Crosswalk Policy: review the crosswalk policy’s draft flowchart for
finalization. Review and discuss narrative to the Crosswalk Policy. Discuss next
steps for recommending the S.A.F.E. Crosswalk Policy to City Council, secure
work session date (moved to 8/8 Council Workshop).
3. Website Updates: review new website and discuss any potential updates and
improvements to the website, e.g. adding MnCMAT2 metrics; GIS mapping of
TSC cases (internal vs. external); additional resources and/or standalone sub-
sites similar to ‘Warning Signs’/’Stop Signs’/Etc.
PART IV: 2:50 P.M. – MEMBER COMMENT
An opportunity for each member to discuss any topic within the scope of the TSC that
was not on ‘Business & Information’.
PART V: 3:00 P.M. – ADJOURNMENT
Future Items: Refining “See-Click-Fix” and updated webpage management; CTS Study #2020-13 (Pedestrian
Activated Crossing Assessment); how/why/where of traffic sign placement; “bump outs” and other traffic calming
measures (“Safe Streets”); Safe Pedestrian Corridor analysis (peer city compariso n); evaluate one way on narrow
streets…
