This letter is to brief you on the signage that is being proposed for the three business entities and the
church that share the use of the parking lot on the Old Village Hall Historic site through their individual
easement agreements.
The sign will be placed in the southwest corner of the property facing Great Plains Blvd with an angle
that will allow for a direct line of site of the sign for traffic traveling north on Great Plains Blvd. from Hwy.
5. This view will clearly identify the Goddard School, Remax Action West, the Chanhassen Chamber of
Commerce and the Homestead church as the existing establishments of the Old Village Hall Historic
site. The sign will also be illuminated at night by two ground mounted flood lights. This will allow for
twenty-four hour visual advertising.
Please see the attached price sheet that shows what the initial investment will be for each of the sign
tenants based upon the position on the sign (Price could vary slightly based upon current material
costs). Please be aware that the picture of the enclosed signage does not represent the position or the
number of letters that you may want to have added to your portion of the sign. Example: (Church, could
say Homestead Church) & (Remax, could say Remax Action West) The current initial pricing only
includes the amount of letters shown in the attached picture. Additional letters will cost slightly more
and the tenants initial investment in the sign will vary based upon the three positions on the right side of
the sign as indicated on the price sheet. Requests for position on the sign will be accomplished on a
first come first serve basis.
Since there is no other business or non-profit entities to take your places on the sign within the Old
Village Hall Historic site an initial investment will be required. The final price of your initial investment will
be determined by the number of participants on the sign (The Goddard School will be participating). A
right of transfer to another business or entity for your position on the sign will be included in the final
legal agreement.
Any permit fees, city fees, state of Minnesota fees, taxes or insurance costs related to the sign and
general maintenance costs of the sign will be divided equally among the four sign tenants.
The Goddard School will pay for its portion of the sign. Neither the Goddard School nor Riese, Inc. will
make any money from the initial installation of the sign.
