l. Permit. Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, theCityof Chanhassen hereby
grants the following variance:
The Chanhassen Board of Appeals and Adjustments approves the variance request for a
side yard setback encroachment for the construction ofa deck.
2. Propertv. The variance is for a property situated in the City ofChanhassen. Carver County,
Minnesota, and legally described in Exhibit A.
3. Conditions. The variance approval is subject to the following conditions:
1. A building permit must be obtained prior to any construction on site.
4. Laose. Ifwittrin one (1) year ofthe issuance ofthis variance the allowed construction has not
been substantially completed, this variance shall lapse.
