1987 04 06BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS MINUTES APRIL 6, 1987 CALL TO ORDER Chairman Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. MEMBERS PRESENT Willard Johnson, Carol Watson and Dale Geving. STAFF PRESENT Jo Ann Olsen, Assistant City Planner PUBLIC HEARING Variance Request to the 75 Foot Shoreland Setback to Construct a Single Family Residence on property zoned RSF, Single Family Residential and located at 9235 Lake Riley Boulevard, John Ardoyno, applicant. Olsen presented the staff report to the Board. Watson stated that as long as the same conditions that were approved with the previous variance are maintained then she would approve the current variance. She also stated that she felt a variance was appropriate for this lot. Geving stated that he hopes a home will be built on the property and that he approves of the variance as long as a 50 foot setback from the southerly ordinary high water mark is maintained. Johnson agreed that a variance is justified if the 50 foot set- back is maintained. Waton moved, seconded by Geving, to approve a 25 foot variance to the 75 foot setback from the southerly ordinary high water mark and a 40 foot variance to the 75 foot setback from the westerly ordinary high water mark. All voted in favor and the motion carried. Approval of Minutes Geving moved, seconded by Watson to approve the minutes of February 9, 1987, as written. Geving moved, seconded by Watson, to adjourn the meeting at 7:20 p.m. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
