Site Plan review for: W ALGREENS (Two retail buildings at the
intersection of Highway 41 and Highway 7)
Planning Case: 08-05
I have reviewed the plans for the above project received by the Planning Department
on March 14,2008. Following are my comments, which should be included as
conditions of approval.
1. The buildings are required to have automatic fire extinguishing systems.
2. Building plans must be prepared and signed by design professionals licensed
in the State of Minnesota.
3. Retaining walls over four high must be designed by a professional engineer
and a permit must be obtained prior to construction.
4. Of the 234 parking spaces proposed a minimum of seven must be handicap
accessible with two ofthe seven ''van-accessible''.
5. Detailed occupancy related requirements will be addressed when complete
building plans are submitted.
6. The owner and or their representative shall meet with the Inspections
Division as soon as possible to discuss plan review and permit procedures.
