PROPOSED MOTION
Staff recommends that the councillcommission adopt the following motion:
The Chanhassen Economic Development Authority authorizes the Satisfaction and Release
of Land from the Assessment Agreement for Chanhassen Lakes Business Park.
BACKGROUND
The attorney for Chanhassen Lakes Business Park has requested that the City
grant a release from their March 1983 Assessment Agreement.
The Downtown TIP District (#1) was decertified on September 13, 2004.
The Assessment Agreement stated that in any event, the agreement shall terminate
no later than November 28,2007. The attorney is however requesting a
recordable document from the City, which is attached.
Staff has reviewed the files and finds the project complete and in compliance with
the Assessment Agreement.
RECOMMENDA TION
Staff recommends that the Chanhassen EDA approve the attached "Satisfaction
and Release of Land from Assessment Agreement". Approval of this item
requires a majority vote of the EDA.

of Minnesota, and ALSCOR/INVESTORS JOINT VENTURE NO. II, a Minnesota
partnership, dated March 24, 1983, recorded with the Carver County Registrar of
