BACKGROUND
In anticipation of the adoption of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan, staff is preparing
updates to the City Code to coincide with its adoption. On April 1, June 3 and
July 15,2008, we provided information regarding uses within the commercial
districts.
Prior to holding the public hearing on the amendments to the uses in the
commercial districts, we would like to review the uses with the Planning
Commission for the commercial zones. We have included the intent of the zoning
district as a basis for discussion of the uses. Please review the proposed uses to
see if they are appropriate, if some should be removed or if uses should be added.
Staff is requesting additional input and guidance with regard to the identified
issues before we proceed with the public hearings.
DIRECTION
Planning staff is looking to the Planning Commission for feedback with regard to
the attached City Code issues.
