Re: T -Mobile Application for a Cell Tower at North Lotus Lake Park
Dear Ms. Swenseth:
As I explained in the e-mail which was sent following our telephone conversation
which took place on Friday, October 3,2008, through the review process
associated with the T-Mobile application for a cell tower at North Lotus Lake
Park, it has been discovered that this use is not permitted under our LA WCON
agreement with the State of Minnesota. State LA WCON grants were applied for
and accepted by the City for both the acquisition and development of North Lotus
Lake Park. The City's use agreements with the State prohibit any improvements
not directly related to outdoor recreation.
Therefore, the City will not be processing your application further. Also, we are
returning your application fees.
