Re: Shoreland Setback Variance - Planning Case #08-19
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Peters:
This letter is to formally notify you that on November 10, 2008, the Chanhassen
City Council approved Planning Case 08-19 for a 15- foot shoreland setback (eves
are permitted to encroach 2 feet as shown in approved drawing) variance to
construct a 15 by 20 foot enclosed structure on Lot 12, Block 1, Sunrise Hills
Addition and adoption of the Findings of Fact to be supplied by staff at the next
City Council meeting, with the following condition:
1. Design the roof such that drainage off the roof is not concentrated to
create hazards to the bluff below.
The variance is. valid for one year from the approval date. Abuilding permit must
be applied for p~()rto Novemberl0, 2009 through the City'sb9ilding
