The permanent monument, which honors all branches of the military, will be formally dedicated on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25,2009. We ask that the citizens of Chanhassen and the surrounding area join us at 5:00 pm at the beautiful memorial site, which is on the east side of the Chanhassen Public Library. A respectful service will honor the brave men and women who protect our freedom and make profound sacrifices for our country. We recognize those who have served, the individuals who are presently in uniform and also those who will help in the future. We would like to invite our citizens to make donations to the monument to help with the overall costs of the memorial.
