"Dedicated to all who serve and protect our freedom"
Chanhassen Veterans Monument Dedication Ceremony
City Center Park, Chanhassen, MN
May 25, 2009 at 5:00 pm
The American Legion Post 580 is pleased to announce the details of the dedication ceremony of the
Chanhassen Veterans Monument.
The permanent monument, which honors all branches of the military, will be formally dedicated on
Memorial Day, Monday, May 25,2009. We ask that the citizens of Chanhassen and the surrounding area
join us at 5:00 pm at the beautiful memorial site, which is on the east side of the Chanhassen Public
Library.
A respectful service will honor the brave men and women who protect our freedom and make profound
sacrifices for our country. We recognize those who have served, the individuals who are presently in
uniform and also those who will help in the future.
We would like to invite our citizens to make donations to the monument to help with the overall costs of
the memorial. Please send your tax-deductible donations to Commander Gary Boyle, American Legion
Post #580, 290 Lake Drive E., Chanhassen, MN 55317. Questions: tele.: 952-934-6677 e-mail:
qdbovle@embarqmail.com.
More importantly make plans to attend the dedication ceremony with your family, friends and neighbors
this coming Memorial Day!
