Re: Conditional Use Permit for an Electronic Message Center Sign and
Sign Variance from the individual dimension lettering requirement,
minimum lh-inch depth - Planning Case #09-04
Dear Mr. Schlangen:
This letter is to formally notify you that on May 11, 2009, the Chanhassen City
Council voted to approve the following motion:
"The Chanhassen City Council approves a Conditional Use Permit to allow an
electronic message center on a monument sign for Arboretum Tire and Auto, located
at 8175 Hazeltine Boulevard, and approves a sign variance from the individual
dimension lettering requirement, Planning Case #09-04, withthe following
conditions:
1. The sign shallco:mplywithstandards for electronic message center signs as
outlined intheCityCode.
2. A sign permit must be applied for and approved prior to installation."
The Conditional Use Permit and Variance are valid for one year from the
approval date. Asign permit must be applied for prior to May 11, 20 10 through
