Witness my hand and official seal at Chanhassen, Minnesota, this 18th day of December, 2009. , , , CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA DATE: December 14,2009 RESOLUTION NO: 2009-96 MOTION BY: Ernst SECONDED BY: Tiornhom A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN 2030 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN LAND USE WEST ONE ADDITION WHEREAS, the City of Chanhassen submitted the proposed minor Comprehensive Plan amendment to change the land use designation from Commercial to Office Industrial for 2.2 acres of land located northeast of Highway 5 and southwest of the intersection of Kerber Boulevard and Picha Drive (Lot 1, Block 1, West One Addition) to adjacent communities on June 26, 2009, for their review. The 60-day agency review period ended on August 26,2009. No comments were received. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to review the minor Comprehensive Plan amendment on July 21, 2009. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the amendment conditioned on Metropolitan Council approval; and WHEREAS, on Aug,ust 10,2009, the Chanhassen City Council approved the Comprehensive Plan Amendment conditioned on Metropolitan Council approval and the submittal of the Minor Land Use Comprehensive Plan Amendment to the Metropolitan Council for their review; and WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council received the City's West One Comprehensive Plan Amendment on October 26, 2009; and WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council found that this Comprehensive Plan Amendment met the Administrative Review Guidelines adopted by the Council on May 11,2005. Therefore, further action on this review was waived and the City was approved to place this Comprehensive Plan Amendment into effect. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chanhassen City Council approves the Minor Comprehensive Land Use Plan Amendment.
