Recreation Center Updates
CAPIT AL EQUIPMENT
Exciting upgrades have been made to the Fitness Center at the Chanhassen
Recreation Center. This is the third capital investment of new fitness
equipment. Included in this upgrade are one treadmill, one elliptical cross
trainer, and a rowing machine. These pieces of equipment offer a blend of
cardiovascular low and high impact workouts, are easy to operate and use, and
increase the diversity of fitness options at the Chan Rec Center.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Dance for Fun - The program is in the Spring session of classes leading to the
Spring Recital. The recital will have three performances and is scheduled for
May 15,2010 at Chanhassen High School.
Enhance Fitness - 22 seniors are participating in the first quarter session.
UCare will be funding the future sessions at the Rec Center beginning in April.
Grandparent & Me Wii Bowling - 11 grandchildren and their grandparents

by Rian Noble. The event included two games of bowling, hot cocoa and
medals for the youth. Bowlers ranged in age from 2-68.

Lead position. She coordinates the preschool and after school activities.
