On behalf of Minnetonka Public Schools, ISD #276, please find enclosed an Interim Use Permit
application, in conjunction with the new tennis courts construction at the West Middle School,
proposed for construction in 2011.
The following is a description of the work proposed for this year.
New Tennis Courts
The proposed project will involve demolition of the two existing tennis courts, constructing two
tennis courts in the same location, and constructing five more new tennis courts in the vicinity
currently used primarily as play areas (seven tennis courts total). As part of this project, new grass
swales will be constructed to satisfy the stormwater management requirements.
The total amount of added/new impervious surfacing proposed for construction this year is 0.82
acres for the site.
We have enclosed the following as part of this application:

• Stormwater Drainage Areas Plan Sheet (existing and proposed pervious and impervious
areas)
• Demolition and Erosion Control Plan Sheet
• Grading and Drainage Plan Sheet

• Check to the City of Chanhassen in the amount of $675.
