Lake Minnewashta Regional Park and TH 41 Trail and Underpass An underpass at TH 41 is planned to be installed for access into Lake Minnewashta Regional Park. When finished, the trail
project will complete a mile-long segment from TH 41 to the beach in the park, and a one-and-a-half mile trail segment along the east side of TH 41, between Chaska Road and Longacres
Drive. Additionally, the trail will connect to Minnetonka Middle School West and to area neighborhoods. Construction of the Lake Minnewashta Regional Park and TH 41 trail and underpass
will consist of installing a box culvert underneath TH 41 and a 10-foot wide paved trail terminating at the beach facility located within the park, and a 10-foot wide paved trail on
the east side of TH 41. These improvements will result in impacts to wetlands in the areas identified below (Also see the Minnesota Local/State/Federal Application Form for Water/Wetland
