reaction. Several prizes will be awarded including recording time, opportunities

The ChanJam Battle of the Bands began in the spring of 2008 at the Chanhassen
Finance Rec Center. Through the first four years, the average attendance was 280 people

Fax: 952.227.1110 and seven bands per show. The largest show consisted of nine bands in 2009
when KDWB DJ Dave Ryan was the show's master of ceremonies. The smallest
Park & Recreation show occurred this past spring with only four bands.

Recreation Center participation. Upon talking to students, other managers for local battle of the

musical obligations. Upon review of these findings, staff believes fall is a more

Public Works Another change occurring this fall is moving the event to the Chanhassen High

Senior Center participating bands.

Tickets will be available at the door for $5, but participants can save $1 if they
