This musical showcase will feature up to ten awe - inspiring local bands from Chanhassen, Chaska, and Building Inspections Minnetonka High Schools. Fax: 952.227.1170 The ChanJam Battle of the Bands began in the spring of 2008 at the Chanhassen Finance Rec Center. The largest show consisted of nine bands in 2009 when KDWB DJ Dave Ryan was the show's master of ceremonies. The smallest Park & Recreation show occurred this past spring with only four bands. Upon talking to students, other managers for local battle of the 2310 Coulter Boulevard bands, and reviewing the school calendars, it was determined that spring is an Phone: 952.227.1400 extremely hectic time for students. Upon review of these findings, staff believes fall is a more Planning & favorable time to hold this event as it is a less busy time of year. These features make it an ideal location and more favorable for Senior Center participating bands.
