LITTLE FREE LIBRARY
In cooperation with the Schools of Eastern Carver County, the Chanhassen
Recreation Center received a "Little Free Library." This particular library was
decorated and used at the "Hooked on Books" event that Carver County and
District 112 co- sponsor. The library was installed in June. It is a small structure
that looks similar to a birdhouse. The basic idea is if you need a book, take a
book. If you are finished with a book, leave a book. Dave and Jan Lundquist
are serving as stewards of the library.
