SUBJ: Request for a variance from Section 20- 904(a)(1) of the Chanhassen City
Code to construct an accessory structure in excess of 1,000 square feet on
property zoned Agricultural Estate District (A -2) and located at 760 West
96th Street.

I have reviewed the plans for the above project and have the following comments:
As the property is less than ten acres the agricultural exemption from building code
requirements does not apply. Building permit(s), plan review and approvals are
required for the proposed building.
