1997 February Festival Preview
Chanhassen's Annual February Festival is scheduled for Saturday, February 15 at Lake
Susan. I have been working to finalize the schedule of events. Here is a tentative
preview.
8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
12:00 p.m - 3:00 p.m.
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Jaycees Golf Tournament
Dog Sled Rides
Open Skating
Bon Fire
Winter Diving Demo
Wind Surfing Demo
Ice Fishing Contest
As you know, the ice fishing contest time was moved from 3:00-5:00 p.m. to 1:00-3:00
p.m. Having the contest earlier will flow with other scheduled events. The ice fishing
contest is the major component of February Festival, and I will be working hard to
finalize the fishing prizes and promotional information. My goal is to have promotional
material to the printers by Christmas.
