Senior Center Activities Update
The Chanhassen Senior Center has become a very popular place for several senior citizens in the
Chanhassen community lately. The participation levels of various activities have seen a dramatic
increase. The summer months were average, but the fall months are looking to be very
promising. Just last week our chorus, woodcarving and bowling groups resumed back for
another exciting season. These extra activities will definitely keep me on my toes. I am also busy
working on my October / November newsletter mailing, additional winter activities/programs
and scheduling activities for the Senior Center / Senior Linkage Line volunteer staff to work on.
Once again I have recorded the numbers we have at each daily activity, trip and special program.
These numbers are effective from July 16, 1996 to the present date. I have averaged these
numbers out and have listed them below. Along with these numbers I have attached the
October/November senior newsletter for your interest.
