Fall Adult Volleyball
Chanhassen Park & Recreation will be offering adult volleyball leagues this fall at the
Chanhassen Recreation Center. Leagues will begin October 15 and run through December 19
(10 weeks). The league fee will be $200, which includes officials, sanctioning fees, and
miscellaneous expenses.
Leagucs will be offered on Tuesday nights (Men's), Wednesday nights (Co-Rec), and Thursday
nights (Women's). Phone calls have already been coming in from interested individuals. I have
also been receiving phone calls from individuals wishing to officiate.
League meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, September 10 at the Recreation Center. Letters will
be sent out again to 1995/96 volleyball teams, adult softball teams, and businesses; flyers are
available at the Recreation Center and City Hall; and an article will be placed in the Chanhassen
Villager.
I am looking to bolster revenues at the Recreation Center by launching a full effort to increase the
volleyball leagues this fall and winter.
