August meeting. They include:

A common theme at the August meeting was to assume a conservative position
allowing the dust to settle from the busy 1998 construction season. Abiding by
that, it is recommended that the Park and Recreation Commission recommend to
the City Council the following 1999 Park and Trail Acquisition and Development

Capital Improvement Program. This recommendation is based upon an estimate
of $280,000 in park and trail fee revenue in 1999.
Reserve Allocation $ 200,000
Roundhouse Park "Roundhouse" Renovation $ 40,000
Basketball Courts
Roundhouse Park $ 5,000
Sugar Bush Park $ 5,000
Bandimere Park Bleachers $ 20,000
Contingency $10,000
TOTAL $ 280,000
Any revenue above the $280,000 would be dedicated to reserve. In the event
revenues fall short of the $280,000 mark, the reserve allocation would be lowered.
Note: Staff will also include a request in the city's recreation programming
budget for $7,000 in arts programming.
