Our 3r° Anniversary Celebranon was held October 9-15. A large
advertisement ran in the Villager tile week prior to o'ur celebration,
Customers had fi'cc use oftlae fitness room, open gym and aerobic classes
during the week. 'We gave away punch ca,ds and exercise bands in a
drawing. Many new customer vtsited us as a result of seeing our banner,
In compliance with City.ordinance, the banner was removed on 10/21'/98.
We are plmming a focus on fitness promotion for January. We'hope lo
have our personal trainers staff'an information booth in our lobby for the
first two weeks of the new year. We will provide a free consulta~tion,
fimess and nutrition information and will be giving away a. 3 session
personal training package. Our banners will reappear for the mdnth of
January.
Budgets are being prepared for FY99. We'are projecting a modest increase,
less than 2 %, in expenses and are projecting revenue increases of ! 0%.
We hope to introduce new youth and adult programs in the coming year.
We may also begin to take over the Preschool Sports program from the
YMCA which would increase revenues by $20,000.
Aleta Wisnei~ki, Jennifer Zam and Andy Sauter have joined the staffas
Facility Supervisors. Staff schedules are set through the holfdays.

The 'first session of YMCA Preschool Basketball filled to 9apactty well
before the registration deadline. Thirty children were on our wait list but
did no~ make it onto a team. Smt~e parents were.very disappointed that this
program could not include everyone. Our limitations are with gyn'masium

We look forward to our winter programs Which will include Babysitting
Clinics, Ice skating Clinics and structured Mom and Child playtime,.
The new Childcm-e program was implemented September 1, A financial
