Easter Egg Hunt and Coloring Contest
As you know, the Easter Egg Candy Hunt will be Saturday, April 3 at the
Chanhassen Recreation Center. "The Splatter Sisters" will be the entertainment
for this years performance. The performance will be pure fun with song and
dance.
In later March, I will go to Target and purchase the candy and the prizes for the
coloring and egg decorating contest. I will separate the candy and prizes and
deliver them to the Recreation Center by Friday, April 2.
The Chanhassen Boy Scouts will serve as our candy ambassadors again this year.
They will spread out the candy for each age category and hide the golden egg.
The candy hunt for all age groups will be located in the ballfield areas north of the
warminghouse. If this area is not serviceable at that time, the hockey rinks will be
used as an alternative.
The flyers were distributed to all area schools the week of February 22 and
completed coloring contest entries are being turned in. I am still looking for
volunteers but I'm confident that I will find people before the event.
