YMCA Indoor Soccer is over and the outdoor sports have started. The first session of
YMCA Preschool T-Ball has started with about 200 participants! Tracy Petersen,
Marvin Puspoki (YMCA) and Susan Marek had a meeting to clarify some of the
administrative duties in the YMCA Preschool programs.
Boot Camp has had 12-18 participants in each class! This session will end on May 27
but fimess enthusiasts will get another chance. The next six week Boot Camp class
begins in mid August.
The Rec Center will have its first art exhibit beginning May 22. Marilyn Stewart will
exhibit oil paintings on canvas and host an opening celebration. See attached brochure
cover. We have 4 more local artists scheduled through November!
The Dance for Fun Program concluded its dance year with three recital perfonnances
on May 7 and 8 at Waconia High School. We are still waiting for all the revenues and
expenses to dear from this major production.
5. Rec Center staff are busy processing registrations for summer programs. Room rentals
have started to decline for the summer.
